Lydon Small

West Franklin Adult Discipleship & Connection Minister

Lydon Small

Lydon Small is the Adult Discipleship and Connection Minister at The Church at West Franklin. He was born in Birmingham, AL and grew up in Roswell, GA, a suburb of Atlanta. Lydon made his way back to Alabama and graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in business and marketing. Roll Tide!

Lydon has a business background in sales and enjoys working with people to solve problems. After a mission trip to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in 2014, he began taking steps to discern his call to ministry and started taking seminary courses through Union University and is now in the process of completing a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He met his wife, Erika, while leading a co-ed small group in Nashville in 2010 and they were married in the Fall of 2011. They love playing golf, eating Mexican food, and taking their black lab Ezra to the river. Lydon is passionate about connecting people to authentic community in the local church, seeing them transformed by love and grace of Christ, and watching what God does when they live on mission.
