Changed Lives

Changed Lives Change Minds.

Not bumper stickers on your car. Not a rant on Facebook. Not a cross pin on your blazer. And not a list of things you don't do.

Changed Lives Change Minds.

Not a cheesy slogan on church sign. Not a Jesus bobble-head doll on your desk. Not a new big, bulky Bible you carry with you on your lunch break.

Changed Lives Change Minds.

Paul put it like this in Philippians 2: "Do everything without grumbling and arguing, so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world. Hold firmly to the message of life."

Want to change someone's mind about Christianity? Don't lose your cool when you find out you owe more on your taxes than you anticipated. Be joy-filled on Monday AND Friday. Defend your boss around the water cooler.

Changed Lives Change Minds.

And Changed Lives have Changed Minds.

Or, as Paul put it in Philippians 2: "Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus."

Want to defend the authenticity and reality of Christianity? Prove that it's real by being a changed person. How do you do that? Let the Spirit of the One who gave Himself for the world work itself out of you by giving yourself away. Or, as Paul put it in Philippians 2: "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who is working in you, enabling you both to desire and to work out His good purpose."

Changed Lives Change Minds.

And Changed Lives have Changed Minds.

Join us Sunday morning at 10:45 am as I try to unpack this biblical truth.
