Third of Five Reasons to Bring Someone With You Easter Sunday
March 30, 2015
Why should you invite and/or bring someone with you to The Church at West Franklin this Sunday? I want to give you five good reasons, a different one every day this week (click for the first and second reasons).
The third reason is a biggie for Baptists. It's huge. Actually, it's part of the reason many of us are huge. As I mentioned yesterday, we are offering two worship services on Easter Sunday. One at 9:30 am and the other at 11:00 am. This means there will be around 30 minutes (10:30 am - 11:00 am) between the two services.
What's there to do besides "just" fellowship? EAT DO-NUTS.
Yep. We don't just want you to bring the unchurched and lost with you to attend one of our services. We want you to be able to introduce them to other church members. What better way to do that than to break dough together with several hundred other people?
From 10:30 am - 11:00 am in the fellowship hall - donuts, coffee, juice, milk, and water will be available for one and all. The purpose? To give all of us an opportunity to meet others and have a informal time together, doing what we do best as Baptists: EAT. So, bring someone with you Easter Sunday. Make sure to include in your invitation that free donuts and coffee will be served.
It's one way we are guaranteed to grow as a church - eat do-nuts together (see what I did there?).
