Shop For A Cop

July 23 - July 30

Each year, the Fraternal Order of Police Morris Heithcock Lodge #41 holds their "Shop with a Cop - Back to School" event.  Through this event, they are able to take funds donated by local residents and businesses and purchase school supplies for families in the Franklin area.  Last year, they selected about 100 children from pre-screened families to bless with these necessary items they need to return to school.

Our officers give selflessly to our community not only in their daily work but also socially. Williamson County Sheriff, Jeff Long, has been quoted, “our officers earn hundreds of dollars a year”, meaning officers don’t become police officers for the pay. We have the opportunity to reverse this role with Shop FOR a Cop, and give back to our officer’s families in the same manner they generously give to our community.

When will I be able to choose an item(s) to shop for?
Names and items for children of selected officers will be available for pickup in the foyer on Sunday, July 23.

When do I need to return the items I shop for?
We ask all items are returned to the West Franklin campus on Sunday, July 30.
