2019 Student Chicago Mission Journey

We are currently on a waiting list. Please contact the Student Office if you are interested in joining the waiting list for Chicago 2019.


We'll take our 16th journey to Chicago to partner with Reborn Community Church and work alongside Pastor Jamie Thompson in Garfield Park.  We will be lodging at the Hosteling International in Chicago.

Students who are interested in participating MUST:

  • Complete online application and registration form.
  • Pay $175 deposit to secure your spot.
  • Submit 2019 Brentwood Baptist Medical Release Form (notarized with a copy of insurance card).
  • Submit Brentwood Baptist Medication Form (if the student has medication).
  • Attend at least two of three training meetings (dates listed below).
  • Complete the online training.


We are using Brentwood’s Focus Mission program for our Chicago Mission Journey registration. 

Registration will open March 27 at 5:00 PM


COST: $515 {Discounts available for those that are members and/or in the membership process.} 
DEPOSIT:  $175 (required to secure spot)

Cost includes all transportation, lodging, most meals (travel meals are not included in this cost)
*Please note: all money given to pay for your student’s trip is noted on the person’s giving year-end contribution statement.

All 3 in person training are highly encouraged, 2 are REQUIRED. There will also be online training requirements that will be emailed out after registration has been completed.

Important Forms

Please download (under Important Documents on the right), complete, and turn in the following forms to your campus student ministry office no later than the parent meeting on Sunday, June 30th.


  •     Brentwood Baptist Church Student Medical Release (NOTARY required)
  •     Brentwood Baptist Church Adult Medical Release


  •     Medication Form – if your student has medication. Due at check-in July 13.
  •     EPIPEN Form – if your student has an EPIPEN is this form required. Due at check-in July 13.
  •     Time Away Form – if your student will not be taking church provided transportation, arriving late or leaving early from Chicago. Due no later than Sunday, June 30.

We will be collecting paperwork on the following date in the Connection Center (Brentwood Campus) with a notary available:

  • Wednesday, April 3  |  5:30-7:30 PM
  • Wednesday, May 8  |  5:30-7:30 PM
  • Sunday, June 9  |  9:00 AM- NOON
  • Sunday, June 30 | 2:30-3:00 (Parent Meeting)

**Paperwork can be turned in before June 30 to your campus Student Ministry office**

Due to trip cost already incurred, there will be no refunds for cancellations after registration closes on June 2, except under special circumstances as determined by the ministers.
*Does not apply to extenuating circumstances, such as death of a family member or physical illness.
