Room In The Inn

November 2 - March 29
West Franklin

Just as the weather starts turning cold, our first RITI event of the season will occur on November 2nd, as we provide overnight shelter to 12 men, picking them up via our bus at the Campus for Human Development.  We will welcome then into our facility and share a nice dinner with them while offering fellowship and entertainment.  We will also pray with them and for them.  While with us, they will have access to hot showers and be offered laundry services.  After a good night’s sleep, they will enjoy a good, hot breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits, grits, coffee and orange juice, then given a sack lunch for the day and sent with our well wishes and prayers on their way via our bus back to the campus.  The Church at West Franklin has committed to a total of 10 RITI dates this year.  Since some of our life groups are small and lack a sufficient number people to cover all the assignments, we are keeping a running list of individuals who would be available to serve in some capacity other than your own life group.  Our two most frequent needs are for overnight hosts, and laundry services on Thursday nights.

If you are interested in serving in this or any other capacity, please contact Don Gower at 615-351-3151 or, or Bob Upton at 615-566-0394 or, and we will add you to our list of volunteers.

Below are our donation needs:

  • Travel-sized shampoo
  • Individually wrapped bars of soap
  • Toothbrushes
  • Disposable razors
  • Gloves
  • Warm hats
  • Small packs of tissues

Bring items you would like to donate to the foyer on the West Franklin campus.
