Join us as we spread out across our community to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. Sign up with your LIFE group, as a family, or as an individual. We will also enjoy lunch together as a team either on your site or back at the church depending on which project you choose!
Here is the current list of opportunities to choose from:
- Cultural Immersion Tour
- Limited capacity – 20 people
- Ages: 16+ (childcare available at the church if needed)
- Time: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Description: We will join guides from SALT Next Gen to tour a Mosque and/or Hindu temple, learn more about those from different faith backgrounds and how to share the gospel with them. After the tour, lunch will be shared with the Ministry Team.
- GraceWorks
- Limited capacity – 8 people (4 each shift)
- Ages: 15+
- Times: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (Shift A); 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Shift B)
- Description: Furniture loading and unloading for GraceWorks customers during their big thrift store sale. Lunch will be provided at the church.
- New Hope Academy
- Family Friendly Opportunity!
- Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Description: Come help New Hope clear out their 1 mile walking path ahead of a fundraiser 5k, prepare gift bags as an encouragement for the teachers and staff, or clean the school in general. This is a great opportunity for large groups and families to serve together! Lunch will be provided at the church.
- Apartment Ministry Outreach Block Party
- Limited Capacity – 30 people
- Family Friendly Opportunity!
- Time: 10:15 AM – 1:30 PM
- Description: Come help a local apartment ministry reach their neighbors by hosting a block party! We will manage some games and inflatables, cook out to provide a free meal to neighbors and volunteers, and help develop gospel connections between ministry teams and residents.
- Childcare at West Franklin (Volunteers must be over 18 and a background check will be required)
- This will allow us to provide childcare for families to enable them to serve somewhere else.
Discuss with your LIFE Group leader to pick a project. Or if you would like to register as a family or individual, simply put “no LIFE group” in that line on the sign-up. Someone from each family participating from a LIFE group needs to sign up for you and your family. Childcare will be provided for children 5 and under, however, we encourage families to serve together at our family friendly opportunities.
