We think of Easter Sunday as a time of celebration of the greatest victory in human history—Jesus Christ’s victory over sin and death. For Christ’s closer followers, the majority of that day was spent locked in a room afraid for their lives. Then He appeared and offered the words we all long to hear: “Peace be with you.”
